Operational Schedules • Rebuttable OTP Verification • Storage & Lien
SStore Deliveries provides target operational schedules for local and intercity transport. Delivery estimates represent targets rather than strict legal guarantees:
2. OTP VERIFICATION (REBUTTABLE PRESUMPTION): SStore uses a 4-digit Security One-Time Password (OTP) system. Entering the correct OTP on the driver terminal creates a rebuttable presumption under Nigerian Law that the delivery was successfully completed intact and accepted by the recipient, unless credible documentary evidence (e.g. system malfunction or proven fraud) demonstrates otherwise.
If a delivery attempt fails due to recipient unavailability or inaccurate address details, the driver will hold the consignment for up to 15 minutes. Uncollected items return to the nearest SStore dispatch hub, and the Shipper remains liable for return freight and subsequent redelivery charges.
4. DEMURRAGE, STORAGE & 90-DAY FORFEITURE LIEN: Cargo held beyond 3 business days incurs a daily demurrage fee of ₦500 per day. Cargo remaining uncollected after 30 calendar days is moved to long-term storage. Under Nigerian Lien Laws, cargo remaining unclaimed after 90 calendar days shall be deemed legally abandoned, and SStore Integrated Solutions reserves the right to auction or sell the goods to recover accrued fees.
